Showers of Support
Showers of Support is a ministry that hosts baby showers for expectant mothers, providing them not only with essential baby items but also with a supportive community that celebrates the arrival of their child. If you have a heart for new moms, consider donating new or gently used baby items, or volunteering your time in party-planning. Free Prenatal Nurturing Classes
Catholic Charities of Central Colorado is offering a free 8-week Nurturing Program for Prenatal Families. Parents learn ways to bond with their baby, review ages and stages, and much more. The next session begins March 22nd, held each Wednesday from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at 228 N. Cascade Ave. To register call 866-6535.

Catholic Charities is seeking a bilingual administrative assistant to serve on the Family Immigration Services team, which provides low cost immigration services to immigrants and refugees. Income Tax Assistance
Catholic Charities has proudly partnered with Pikes Peak United Way’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) for many years. VITA volunteers help families complete and submit tax forms, apply for Earned Income Tax Credit, and begin a path toward financial stability. Households with a gross annual income of less than $54,000 qualify for the VITA program. If you or someone you know needs assistance filing taxes, please call 2-1-1 to arrange an appointment.
Current In Kind Donation Needs
General in kind donation needs: toilet paper, sleeping bags, peanut butter. Catholic Charities’ families are currently looking for maternity clothes and baby wipes (call 719-578-1222 for details).
Please drop donations at the Marian House receiving dock, 14 W. Bijou St., from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
