Together We Build Our Future
About Our Capital Campaign
St. Benedict Parish wishes to welcome and thank all of the new households who join with us in Sunday worship of our Lord Jesus Christ. We ask you to consider becoming part of this little faith community by registering as members and supporting our ministries and programs through the Offertory collection and as possible the Capital Campaign to build a church.
Where Are We?
St. Benedict Parish is changing. Not radically, but consistently. For example, during the first half of 2014 the number of registered active households was 125. Over the summer that number started to grow. We now have 135 households.
Interestingly, during the first seven weeks of 2014, we had an average of 172 people at Mass every Sunday. This year, during that same time frame, we have averaged 197.
Where Are We Going?
If we just stay at this rate of growth, in two years, around the time of the end of our Capital Campaign, we will have 155 households and an average of 247 people at Mass.
What Is The Impact?
Even with this level of moderate growth, St. Benedict Parish will need its own church sooner than later. If the population of the Falcon area grows more robustly, we will need a Pastor who can provide multiple Masses each weekend.
What Do We Need?
We need every household in the parish to participate in our Together We Build Our Future Capital Campaign
Pledge Cards are available on the table in the gathering area each Sunday before and after Mass

The Knights of Columbus recently made two generous donations to St. Benedict’s Capital Campaign, Together We Build Our Future.
St. Benedict's Knights of Columbus Council #14785 which has brother knights (1st through 3rd Degree) from both the St. Benedict's and St. Michael's parishes donated $1,000. This donation came from their general fund which is an accumulation of all the fund raisers and works the Knights do in both parishes and through out the community like the Football Frenzy, Peach and Pear Sales and our split club which we run at our monthly meetings.
A $500 donation was received from the St. Patrick's Assembly # 3049 which has sir knights (4th Degree) from St. Benedict's, St. Michael's, St. Patrick's, and Our Lady of the Pines Councils. This donation came from the general fund which is made of the fund from the members dues each year.
Both the Council and the Assembly gave these donations from their funds to show their support for the St. Benedict's mission to build up the community of Christ in the Falcon area.
