Reconciliation (Confession)

Reconciliation is heard each Sunday beginning at 8:00 am, prior to Mass in a private room just off the foyer of our worship space.

Mass

Celebrated each Sunday at 8:30 a.m. at the Patriot Learning Center (PLC), 11990 Swingline Road, Falcon, CO 80831. Here’s a map to help with directions.  Mass generally lasts about an hour, followed by hospitality at the Parish House, then Religious Education.  Since we must establish our worship space each week, our “church elves” arrive about an hour before Mass for setup (and would love your help!).

Directions

From I-25 North or South, take the Woodmen Road Exit (Exit #150) and head East (away from the mountains) on Woodmen Road for approximately 11.7 miles.  Woodmen Road ends at U.S. Highway 24, where you will make a right turn.  Go approximately 1/2 mile on U.S. Highway 24 westbound to Meridian Road and make a left.  Make the 1st left (after about 1/10 mile) onto Swingline Road.  Follow the signs to Patriot Learning Center (there will be a quick left to go around the ball field, then follow the road around the school).  There is ample parking.

From Platte Avenue and Powers Boulevard, take Platte Avenue (U.S. 24) East toward Limon, travel about 8 miles.  Turn right at Meridian Road, then take the 1st left (Swingline Road).  Follow the signs to Patriot Learning Center (there will be a quick left and right turn to go around the ball field).

From U.S. 24 East of Falcon, take U.S. 24 West toward Falcon and turn left at Meridian Road.  Take the 1st left (Swingline Road), and follow the signs to Patriot Learning Center (there will be a quick left to go around the ball field, then follow the road around the school).  There is ample parking.

Registrar

Our Parish Registrar is Kathy Cunningham.  She maintains the Parish registration records and keeps everyone’s contact information up-to-date.

Parish registration forms (blue forms) are kept on a table just outside our worship space.  Contact information update forms (green) are also located on the table.

Parish House

The Parish House is where St. Benedict’s conducts its business, and where Deacon Lynn’s office is located.  Most meetings  during the week  are held at the Parish House. The address is 12150 Falcon Hwy., Falcon, CO 80831.  The phone number is (719) 495-1426.  Here’s a map with directions.  The Parish House is located about 1/2 mile from Patriot Learning Center.  Office hours are Tuesday—Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Religious Education

Religious Education (Faith Formation) takes place on Sundays that fall within School District 49’s school year immediately following Mass.  Grades K-3 have classes at Patriot Learning Center, and Grades 4-8 (including Confirmation Classes) take place at the Parish House.

Use of Kneelers

When we have Mass in the gym, it is optional to stand during the Eucharistic prayers because we don’t have pews with kneelers. Realizing that some would like to kneel in reverence during this part of the Mass, the Champlin family created a number of cloth covered foam kneelers for everyone’s use. The kneelers will be near the corner by the holy water table before Mass. Please use and return as you need.

Over 130 parishioners and guests attended Mass for the holy day of obligation on December 31, 2015. What a great turnout for our first  Holy Day Mass at the Parish Hall. Thank you to the Pastoral Council members for suggesting this option and for all the volunteers who helped organize our celebration of the holy day.
