Religious Education Coordinator: Karen Pinterpe
Religious Education registration is generally held in August with classes beginning in September. Watch the bulletin, our Facebook page, and the website for additional information.
Classes are held on Sunday, starting 15 minutes after the end of the Sunday Mass. Kindergarten through Confirmation classes are held at the Ministry Center. Classes last one hour.
In case of inclement weather parents will be contact via a telephone tree. The website will also be updated.
Students must have attended Religious Education classes one year prior to receiving the Sacrament.
RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation for Children) is open to all children between the ages of 8-15, unbaptized or baptized. These classes are designed to educate children in the Catholic faith and prepare them for the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil. Whether your family is just entering the Church, returning to the practice of the Catholic faith, or delayed your child’s sacramental preparation, all are welcome.
Sacramental preparation guidelines and policies for home schooled religious education are available from the Diocese of Colorado Springs.
