Capital Campaign Committee

Having been donated property on Judge Orr Road on which to build, St. Benedict Parish has begun the required needs assessment work for our future.  In the coming months, the Parish Building Committee will turn this information into a Request for Proposals (RFP) for architectural firms to submit ideas for a Master Plan describing how we can best use this land.

In September, 2007, the Discovery Survey of parishioners ask if the parish “should conduct a capitol campaign to build a multi-purpose building to house our own worship space, religious education classrooms, meeting rooms and office space?”  Ninety two and a half percent (92.5%) of those responding indicated we should.

By the end of this year (2008), St. Benedict will need to design such a Building on Faith Capital Campaign to generate the financial resources needed to pay for such a project.  This page on our parish web site is designed to ensure this whole process is fully understood, accessible and transparent to all interested in the future of St. Benedict Catholic Church.
