Religious education classes consist of: Kindergarten through Grade 8; Confirmation; Youth/Teen Group (Grades 6-12); and Adult Religious Education.

Registration

Registration begins on Wednesday, August 26th, at the Parish House from 10 a.m.—12 p.m., and 1—3 p.m..  Registration is also offered Sunday, August 30th after Mass, and Wednesday, September 2nd, at the Parish House from 6—8 p.m. Classes will start on Catechetical Sunday (September 20th).  Cost is $40.00 for one child but no more than $100.00 per family.  A downloadable Registration Form is available.

Class Time

All classes are held for one hour following the 8:30 A.M. Mass.  Students are given a 10 minute break after Mass before class begins.

Confirmation candidates must be 15 years of age by May 15, 2010.

 

Inclement Weather

In case of inclement weather and religious education classes must be cancelled, parents will be notified via a telephone tree.

Retreats

 

Parent Meetings

Reconciliation meeting is November 4, 2009 at 7 p.m.  and First Communion meetings are February 7 & March 14, 2010

Sacrament Dates

First Reconciliation—January 30, 2010 at 1 p.m.; First Communion—April 25, 2010; Confirmation—May 9, 2010

Confirmation Prerequisite

Students must have attended Religious Education classes one year prior to receiving the Sacrament.

RCIA

The RCIA group for all those who would like to join the Catholic Church.  RCIA is for anyone over the age of seven who has never been baptized or was baptized in a church other than the Catholic Church.  Please contact Dr. Bauer for more information.
