October Birthday Party! |
The Life Support Center needs gifts for their “Birthday Buddies” program. The LSC tries to give 2 gifts to each of their clients’ children on their birthdays. One gift is a practical gift, like clothing. One gift is a fun gift, like a toy or puzzle. The LSC is almost out of gifts! The LSC needs both practical and fun gifts for kids, ages 1-10 and for teens. If you can help, bring your unwrapped gifts to Mass during the month of October for our month-long Birthday Party for the Life Support Center. The gifts don’t have to be large and extravagant. Simple and small gifts will be appreciated. Look for the Birthday Box after Mass. |

Outreach Clothing Drive |
Cleaning out the closets and drawers? Do you want to donate those clothing items? Need somebody to take those used clothes off your hands? Bring them to Mass in November! They will be sorted and delivered to those who need them. |
|
Outreach Mission Statement |
“To serve those in need locally, nationally, and globally.” Notice locally is first. We want to help those in need close to home. November = Thanksgiving Food Baskets December = Christmas Food Baskets Do you know of a local family that needs a food basket from our Parish? We want to be a Parish that serves others. Help us find those families! |
|
Thank You to all of those who have given food during and after Mass! |
The food pantry at the Parish House is low. If you can, please bring in a non-perishable food item or two for the food baskets every week from now through Christmas. Have your child choose their favorite food or snack to give to a child in a family that won’t have it otherwise. · Put an extra can of tuna or jar of peanut butter in your cart when you shop. · Perhaps you buy cans or jars in bulk? · Rice, flour and sugar are staples that every household needs. · Lowest # of items in our food pantry = tomato products, meat/beans, & cereal. Thank you for your sacrifice. |
