Kindergarten through Confirmation
Greetings St. Benedict Families, Teachers and Aides,
I pray that you are all well and staying safe!
Just a reminder, that we will not be resuming Catechism classes this week for Confirmation, First Communion or RCIC.
We also will not be handing out books for other grades.
We will contact you as soon as we have updated information on classes resuming and the new dates for sacraments as well as when the catechism books can be picked up.
May God Bless you and your families.

Students must have attended Religious Education classes one year prior to receiving the Sacrament.
RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation for Children) is open to all children between the ages of 8-15, unbaptized or baptized. These classes are designed to educate children in the Catholic faith and prepare them for the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil. Whether your family is just entering the Church, returning to the practice of the Catholic faith, or delayed your child’s sacramental preparation, all are welcome.
Home Schooled Religious Education
Sacramental preparation guidelines and policies for home schooled religious education are available from the Diocese of Colorado Springs.
