Homeschool Group

The St. Benedict Homeschool Group meets every First Friday of the month for a student Mass at 7:00am, followed by a bring-your-own breakfast either outdoors or in the Pastoral Center, depending on the weather.  Afterward, there is an activity related to living out our Catholic faith and celebrating the liturgical year for students in pre-K through junior high, while highschoolers participate in a discussion about the Catholic faith with our pastor.  Highschoolers also meet every Second Friday of the month for an apologetics study group.

The Sacred Heart Homeschool Choir rehearses monthly and provides the sacred music for the student Masses.

Every Third Friday of the month is a group outing: children's museum, field trips, local park dates, etc.  Outings usually begin in the afternoon, and are for all ages.

Share Fairs, Home Educating Info Nights, Debates, Curriculum Swaps, and other opportunities are offered throughout the year.  For moms, there are summer and winter book study series, moms' nights out, and a Group Me chat.

If you are a homeschooling family and would like to connect and build community with other homeschooling families in your parish, please join us at next month's First Friday meetup or send us an email at
