Little Flowers and Little Women

Little Flowers Girls’ Club® & Little Women Hospitality Club® are Catholic clubs for girls age 5+ aiming to foster a life of virtue and authentic femininity through scripture, saint stories, skills, and genuine friendships.

At St. Benedict, girls age 5-11 are Little Flowers; age 12-18 are Little Women.

Both groups meet 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 6pm, beginning in September.

The Little Flowers program offers five years (wreaths) to complete five flowers as a spiritual bouquet for the Lord.  This year (2021-22) we will be offering Wreath II at St. Benedict.  At our first meeting of the month, we introduce that month’s virtue, flower, and corresponding saint.  At our second meeting, we complete a scrapbook page for the virtue.  Girls earn badges for their Marian blue sash, one petal for each virtue they learn and practice.
This year (2021-22), we will be introducing the Little Women program for young ladies age 12+ at our parish.  These girls will serve as leaders for Little Flowers’ activities, then break off separately for discussions, hands-on learning, movie nights, and a book club.  Girls earn six charms for a bracelet for the feminine skills they learn to practice.

An annual Mother/Daughter Tea is held for members of both groups in May, and we are proud to host a Divine Mercy Sunday Brunch for our parish family in the Spring.  Traveling to Mary's Garden Party, a Mother/Daughter weekend camp in Indiana, takes place in the Summer.
